Zeile says this is final season
February 25, 2004 - Todd Zeile made his intention clear on a rainy Wednesday morning at Tradition Field. This will be his last Spring Training. The veteran infielder will call it a career after this, his 16th season in the Major Leagues.
Glavine gets Opening Day nod

February 23, 2004 - Mets principal owner Fred Wilpon quashed a pair of published reports on Monday that indicated the club would entertain the idea of trading Jose Reyes to Texas for Alfonso Soriano. "No way Jose," Wilpon proclaimed to a group of reporters.
